I am the founder of LINIR TEC, a Welsh software and applied-AI company focused on dependable systems, real operational problems and AI that earns its place.
Things are moving fast, software engineering roles are in an unexpected position between struggling for sustainability and the constant pressure to perform where understanding falls short. With my company I hope to develop meaningful pathways to ultimately make it through today.
My background melds software engineering, artificial intelligence, product quality and direct aviation MRO experience. I hold an MSc in Artificial Intelligence with Distinction from the University of South Wales and a BSc in Software Engineering from Cardiff University. My postgraduate work included constraint-satisfaction and AI/CSP approaches to complex planning problems and received a Certificate of Excellence.
Those experiences shaped how I approach AI: the model is only one part of a working system. Reliability, data, integration, evaluation, human decisions and maintainability matter just as much.
Through LINIR TEC, I am now focused on software systems, applied AI and R&D for complex engineering environments.
I am interested in exploring problems across aviation and other engineering organisations, technical leaders, universities, innovation partners and businesses with difficult software or data problems worth solving.
